As part of a new product platform development team, you will be defining and developing a foundation for world-class disk-based data storage solutions.  You will be technical lead for a small team of exceptional engineers, using and creating leading-edge Linux-based technology, high-speed Fibre Channel and SCSI data communication, RAID and tape-based data storage, and sophisticated monitoring and management methodologies. 

Specific responsibilities and deliverables include the architecture, design, and implementation of a new SCSI target framework for high-speed FC-based I/O.

Responsibilities include design, development, unit test and integration of software components into the platform, encompassing all aspects of the software development life cycle.  You also will be identifying and using open source components in addition to code developed internally as part of the platform.

General Qualifications:

-  Evidence of personal and professional energy and excellence

-  Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent

-  7+ years experience in software development

-  Proven track record for defining, designing and developing complex software components

-  Ability to work in a team environment

-  Experience in storage industry a plus

-  Willing to work hard

Technical Qualifications:

-  C and C++ programming expertise

-  Linux experience; kernel experience a plus

-  FC and SCSI experience and expertise

-  Working knowledge of FCP2 (or later), FCP-FS, FCP-LS

-  Working knowledge of SAM-3 (or later), SPC-3 (or later)

-  Working knowledge of SSC-2 (or later), SMC (or later) a plus

-  RAID and Storage subsystems experience a plus
