The Product Marketing Manager will lead the development of GTM planning for our industry leading Scalar iLayer libraries and enabling technologies (Quantum Vision, Scalar Key Manager). They will author all supporting marketing documents such as data sheets, solution briefs, success stories, white papers, config guides, and other marketing documents as needed to drive the success of the product line. Responsibilities also include creation and updating of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment (ROI), competitive analysis, price modeling and recommendations, and linkage to other Quantum solutions when appropriate. A proven background in applying market and field based research to product strategy and decisions will be essential. Understanding and regularly positioning the products to competitive, customer, channel and market dynamics is also a fundamental part of this role. Strategy will also need to be closely tied to our Corporate Marketing efforts and user facing content. Experience in working with field sales, marketing teams, and technology partners to develop and deliver effective sales tools and programs is required. The ideal candidate must demonstrate past experience in working cross-functionally both internally and outside of the organization to drive product line success and market share leadership. The candidate must also have proven experience in major automation product launches. Some software experience is desired. The product marketing manager will support the Americas market while providing insight and maintaining linkage with Quantum's global counterparts in EMEA and APAC. The position will report to the Director of Product Marketing.
